Characteristics and classification of digital microscopes

Digital microscope, also called video microscope, converts the physical image seen by the microscope into digital-to-analog format so that it can be imaged on the microscope's own screen or on a computer. The digital microscope is a high-tech product successfully developed by combining elite optical microscope technology, advanced photoelectric conversion technology, and LCD screen technology. As a result, we can reproduce the research on the microscopic field from traditional ordinary binocular observation to the monitor, thereby improving work efficiency.

The main benefit of a digital microscope is that a traditional optical microscope can only be used by one person. It is difficult to share the images of the microscope. To capture the images in the microscope, special instruments are often needed. However, because a digital microscope can be connected to a computer, the images in the microscope can be played through a projector connected to the classroom, so that students in the classroom can watch the images together, which is also helpful for the management of classroom order.

Digital microscopes can be divided into two categories based on different data display methods: digital microscopes with built-in screens and digital microscopes using computer display. For now, digital microscopes with built-in screens can be divided into three categories: 1. Desktop digital microscopes; 2. Portable digital microscopes; 3. Wireless digital microscopes. The main feature of desktop digital microscopes is that they have a relatively high magnification and can be used with It is comparable to electron microscopes; portable digital microscopes pursue microscopy everywhere and are compact. The most representative one on the market is the video microscope launched by 3R; wireless microscopes use 2.4G wireless transmission and pursue fast and convenient. Currently there is only one wireless microscope launched by 3R.

A digital microscope that uses a computer display transmits the specimen image seen by the microscope to the computer through the built-in camera of the microscope, and performs tracking analysis through the microscopic image analysis software installed on the computer, thereby obtaining a series of valuable qualitative and quantitative data. Mainly used for microbial identification, cell morphology examination, urine formed component analysis, fiber fineness detection, etc. It has many features such as fully automatic scanning, strong image analysis functions, and strong scalability.

Digital microscopes can produce upright three-dimensional images when observing objects. It has a strong three-dimensional sense, clear and wide imaging, long working distance, and is a conventional microscope with a very wide range of applications. It is easy to operate, intuitive, and has high verification efficiency. For example, 3R's digital microscope is suitable for inspection of electronic industry production lines, verification of printed circuit boards, verification of welding defects in printed circuit components, verification of single-board PCs, and vacuum fluorescent displays. The verification of screen VFD can also be used to identify printing grids, calligraphy and paintings, etc. It enlarges the image of the physical object and displays it on the computer screen. The image can be saved, enlarged and printed. Equipped with measurement software, various data can be measured.
