Daily Pre‑operation Inspection of Large Tool Microscope

Before installation and operation of the instrument, inspect the safety of the surrounding environment. Check whether the power supply, voltage, lamp light source, grounding wire and other components are correctly and firmly connected and meet relevant requirements.

Inspection of moving performance for major components: Visually inspect and manually test the instrument stage, longitudinal and cross slide guides, micrometers, lifting movement of the microscope arm along the column guide rail, rotation of the angle measuring dial, and other moving parts. Confirm that all structures are securely installed and accurately positioned. The operation shall be smooth and intact without looseness, sticking or jumping during movement.

Inspection of the angle measuring eyepiecea. Zero position inspection of the angle measuring eyepiece: When the angle measuring microscope is set to the zero position, the horizontal line on the cross reticle of the angle measuring eyepiece shall be parallel to the moving direction of the

X-axis slide, with a deviation not exceeding 6 arcminutes.Inspection method: Place a knife-edge square on the instrument stage. Raise and lower the microscope until a clear image of the knife edge appears in the eyepiece field of view. Adjust the stage to align the long knife edge of the square parallel to the moving direction of the X-axis slide. Rotate the cross reticle to make its horizontal line coincide with the image of the long knife edge. Check whether the reading on the angle dial is zero and record the deviation, which shall not exceed 6 arcminutes.

b. Coaxiality inspection between the intersection of the cross lines of the angle measuring eyepiece and its rotation center.Inspection method:

Place a cross reticle on the instrument stage. Adjust the instrument to clearly focus the image of the reticle cross onto the cross lines of the angle measuring eyepiece, and align the horizontal lines of both reticles parallel to each other. Move the longitudinal and transverse slides to overlap the two cross intersections completely. Rotate the eyepiece cross reticle to any position and observe the coincidence condition; no obvious offset shall occur during rotation.

Inspection of the perpendicularity between the microscope arm along the column guide rail and the surface of the instrument stage
