Digital Clamp Meter Key Functions Explained
Digital Clamp Meter plays an important role as a common maintenance tool in our daily maintenance work. The main benefit compared to ordinary multimeter is that it can measure AC/DC current without disconnecting the circuit.
① AC/DC current jaws: pick up AC/DC current and clamp head for frequency measurement.
② Function range switch: used to select various functions and range gear.
③HOLD data hold key: press the hold key, the display will hold the last reading of the measurement and display "H"; press the hold key again, the instrument will return to the normal test state.
④ MAX/MIN hold key: Press the hold key, the display will hold the maximum or minimum reading.
⑤Display: 3 3/4 digits, character height 12mm, 7-segment LCD display.
⑥VΩHz jack: red pen positive input when measuring voltage, resistance, diode forward voltage drop, circuit on/off and frequency.
(7) COM jack: except for AC current, black pen negative input.
⑧ ZERO key: in the AC and DC current range, press this key instrument is to enter the relative measurement state, "REL" logo symbol will be displayed, in addition to the readings shown as zero. The display reading before this is stored in the memory as the reference value. In the state of auto-range, the previous range will also be retained.
FUNC key: In resistance, circuit break and diode, this key automatically switches the measurement state, and the selected function is displayed on the LCD.
⑩BACKLIGHT: The display of the instrument is equipped with a background light. The background light will be lit after pressing this key, and will go out automatically after 7-8 seconds.
Trigger: press the trigger, the clamp head opens; release the trigger, the clamp head closes automatically.
