How to Replace the Battery of a Digital Lux Meter
When the battery power is low, the "BT" indicator appears on the LCD, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced.
Remove the power supply from all test terminals and open the battery cover in the direction indicated by the arrow. Remove the battery from the battery button and replace it with a new 9V battery.
◆ Close the battery cover.
Measurement method:
◆ Turn on the power.
Choose the appropriate measurement gear.
Open the head cover of the photodetector and place the photodetector in a horizontal position relative to the desired light source.
Read the measurement value of the illuminance meter LCD.
The measured value read, such as the high digit "1" displayed on the left side, indicates an overload phenomenon and should be immediately selected for measurement.
When setting the 20000LUX/fc file bit, the displayed read value must be multiplied by 10 to be the true measured value. When setting the 200000LUX file bit, the displayed read value must be multiplied by 100 to determine the true value.
◆ Read value lock switch: Press the HOLD switch once, the LCD displays the "H" symbol, and the lock value is displayed. Press the HOLD switch again to cancel the read value lock function.
Peak locking: To measure the light pulse signal, press the PEAK switch once, and the LCD will display the "P" symbol and the pulse peak value. Press the PEAK switch again to restore normal testing.
After the measurement work is completed, cover the head of the photodetector back and turn off the power switch.
Maintenance matters:
Do not measure in high temperature and high humidity places.
During use, the photodetector should be kept clean.
The reference level for light source testing is at the top of the light receiving sphere.
The sensitivity of the photodetector may decrease due to usage conditions or time. We suggest that you perform regular calibration on the electricity meter to maintain its basic accuracy.
