How to use a clamp ammeter to measure resistance

1Set the switch to the appropriate range of electric resistance.

2 Maintain the switch's released state.

3Connect the black test lead to the "COM" terminal and the red test lead to the "" terminal.

4The two ends of the wire being tested are linked to the respective red and black test leads. Before measuring the resistance of the active wire, the line must be cut off from the power source and the capacitance attached to it must be completely drained.

Test for Wire Continuity

1Set the dial to 200. (or buzzer).

2The "" end and "COM" end are connected, respectively, to the red and black test leads.

3The internal buzzer will emit a beep if the resistance between the red and black test leads is less than (5025).
