Introduction to the types and usage methods of illuminometers
Types of illuminometers
1. Visual illuminometer: inconvenient to use, low accuracy, rarely used
2. Photoelectric illuminometer: commonly used selenium photocell illuminometer and silicon photocell illuminometer
Composition and usage requirements of photocell illuminometer:
Composition: microampere meter, shift knob, zero adjustment, terminal post, photocell, V( λ) Correct the composition of filters and other components.
Commonly used selenium (Se) photocell or silicon (Si) photocell illuminometer, also known as lux meter
Usage of illuminometer:
① Turn on the power.
② Open the lid of the photodetector and place it horizontally in the measurement position.
③ Select a gear that is suitable for measurement.
If only "1" is displayed at the left end of the display screen, it indicates excessive illumination. It is necessary to press the range key (⑧ key) to adjust the measurement multiple.
④ The illuminometer starts working and displays the illuminance value on the display screen.
⑤ The data displayed on the display screen is constantly changing. When the displayed data is relatively stable, press the HOLD key (⑧ key) to lock the data.
⑥ Read and record the observed values displayed in the reader. The observed value is equal to the product of the displayed number in the reader and the range value.
For example, 500 is displayed on the screen, and the status is displayed in the bottom right corner“ × 2000 ", with an illuminance measurement value of 1000000lx, i.e. (500 × 2000).
⑦ Press the lock switch again to cancel the read value lock function.
⑧ During each observation, read three consecutive readings and record them.
⑨ After each measurement work is completed, press the power switch button to cut off the power supply.
⑩ Cover the photodetector and replace it in the box.
