Key Operational Reminders for Gas Detectors
1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use for proper instrument operation.
2. Allow adequate warm‑up time before detection. For instance, if the instrument has been idle for more than two hours and high‑accuracy results are required, a 15‑minute warm‑up is recommended.
3. It is recommended to charge the instrument when the battery level drops below 40 % for emergency readiness.
4. This instrument is supplied with Teflon sampling tubing. For heavily dusty conditions, fit a sampling tube with a dust filter onto the left‑side gas‑inlet nozzle. Sampling tubes with filters are not recommended for other conditions. Connection of tubing to the gas‑outlet port is optional according to actual requirements.
5. After measuring toxic and harmful gases, run one additional detection cycle in clean fresh air. Do not power off and store the instrument in its case until all toxic‑gas readings return to 0 ppm and remain stable for more than one minute.
6. The optimal operating temperature for most sensors is 20 °C. Sensor response slows down under low‑temperature conditions.
7. Semiconductor‑type sensors in particular require extended warm‑up and sufficient temperature to deliver accurate measurements.
High‑humidity environments (above 65 %RH) generally cause elevated sensor signal readings.
