Maintenance Procedures for Combustible Gas Detectors

1. Generally, combustible gas detectors are used in harsh environments, where pollutants and dust in the air may enter the interior of the instrument. So it is necessary to regularly clean and maintain the instrument during use to ensure its accuracy and sensitivity.

2. In order to ensure that the instrument is not affected by electromagnetic interference during use, its grounding status should be checked before use to avoid situations such as ungrounded or non compliant grounding.

3. We need to ensure the reliability of the instrument and prevent it from malfunctioning after a period of use. For some instruments that have exceeded their service life, they should be replaced in a timely manner.

4. Combustible gas detectors should not be used for a long time in dusty or dirty environments, nor should they be stored in high or cold environments.

5. When cleaning the instrument, do not use irritating chemicals. Instead, use a clean cotton ball dipped in a small amount of water or soapy water to gently wipe it and wipe it dry in a timely manner.

6. Try to choose different types of gas detectors in different application scenarios. If it is for detecting coal gas, natural gas, liquefied gas and other places, a semi conductive combustible gas detector should be used, while catalytic combustible gas detectors are usually used for industrial occasions that require the detection of emitted combustible gases or vapors.
