New technology of the coating thickness measuring device
At present, whether it is a well-known brand or a general manufacturer, the operation method of the thickness gauge at home and abroad requires the following steps:
1. Zero adjustment, which means adjusting to zero on a specific zero plate or on the raw material that needs to be measured;
According to the different measurement ranges of the measuring products, adjust the values with appropriate test pieces to reduce measurement errors. In general, this method is not a problem when purchasing and using new instruments, but it is a bit cumbersome. But after using the probe for a period of time, the problem arises. Our instrument measurement accuracy has been greatly reduced during operation. It's difficult to grasp. The reason lies in the principle of the product, which is a fatal flaw, that is, the probe uses a magnet to wrap around the coil. After applying current, a magnetic field is generated, which is irregular. Fortunately, there is now a new type of coating thickness gauge that uses a new magnetic sensing technology. The Hall effect, as we know it, was discovered by Hall in 1879. By studying the relationship between Hall voltage and working current, measuring the magnetic field and permeability of the electromagnet, and studying the relationship between Hall voltage and magnetic field, Hall found that the potential difference UH is directly proportional to the current intensity IH, directly proportional to the magnetic induction intensity B, and inversely proportional to the thickness d of the thin film. This magnetic field becomes regular. When this principle is applied to a coating thickness gauge, there is no need to adjust the test piece again. Especially when measuring products with circular or concave surfaces, it is simpler and more convenient to use.
