What distinguishes the gas detector's pump suction type from its diffusion type?
Gas detectors are common gas detection instruments. Due to different factors in the detection environment, it is necessary to use the correct type of detection method when using the instrument. In normal use, gas detectors can be used in two ways: diffusion type and pump suction type. Let me introduce the difference to you.
Difference between pump suction gas detector and diffusion gas detector
1. Sampling method:
Pump-suction gas detectors generally use an air pump to sample air during sampling, while diffusion-type gas detectors sample by freely allowing air to enter the instrument.
2. Detection speed:
The diffusion gas detector will be affected by the air flow rate during the sampling process, so its detection efficiency will be slower than that of the pump-suction gas detector, while the detection speed of the pump-suction gas detector is very fast.
3. Application occasions:
The main application field of the diffusion gas detector is in open places, such as in unclosed workshops, while the application of the pump-suction gas detector is relatively special, such as tunnels, pipelines, sewers, tanks, sealed containers and other places where gas detection is required.
4. Use cost:
When using a diffusion gas detector, whether it is manufacturing cost or later maintenance cost, its use cost will be much lower than that of a pump-suction gas detector.
