How to maintenance for PH828+ Rechargeable Color LCD PH Acidity Meter?

The performance of the instrument, except the product design and construction, maintenance alsois very important, that kind of PH meter, due to always work at high acid or alkali chemical environment, so that maintenance is most important for it.
a) The input port (the PH composite electrode) of the instrument, must be keep it good condition, keep dry, clean and don't take off the plug from the unit except you sure will not use it at a long period.
b) The head of the PH composite electrode is very weak and very thin, so that don't touch with hard object to prevent electrode damaged by external force
c) Don't let dirty thing contact the head of the composite electrode, if it made dirt, please clean it by medical soft cotton soft or with 0.1mol/L dilute hydrochloric acid solution
d)The head of PH composite electrode crack or aging(stock more than one year), must be replaced with new PH composite electrode,otherwise it will cause slow response, Even cause big measurement error. The new electrode before use, must be immersing it in 3 mol/Lpotassium chloride solution for 24Hours
e) Calibrate instrument with buffer solution, the accuracy and reliability of the buffer solution is very important.If the accuracy low will cause the great error of the measurement taken. Buffer solution can be self made, please refer to below appendix in detail
