17) Avoid impacting the clamp head and regularly maintain this instrument. Do not use corrosive agents or rough materials to clean. Use a soft cloth (such as eyeglass cloth) dipped in a rust proof and dehumidifying lubricant (such as WD-40), and gently wipe the instrument.
