Although lithium-ion batteries rarely have the memory effect of nickel-cadmium batteries, the principle of the memory effect is crystallisation, in lithium batteries almost never produce this reaction. However, lithium-ion battery capacity will still decline after multiple charging and discharging. Therefore, the use of lithium batteries still need to pay attention to the following points:
a. Prohibit over-charging and over-discharging, which will cause permanent damage to the positive and negative electrodes of lithium-ion batteries;
b. Charging should be carried out at a suitable temperature;
c. Do not have to deliberately ensure that every time the discharge is complete before charging
d. For a period of time, deep charging and discharging under the control of the protection circuit can be done once to correct the battery's power statistics.

Maintenance of the test block
a. Should be numbered and registered in the appropriate location to prevent confusion;
b. Pay attention to protection in use and handling to prevent collision, knocking, scratching;
c. To pay attention to rust, commonly used fine oil cloth polish, longer time not in use, to clean and dry, coated with oil, the flat bottom hole should be sealed with a nylon plug or adhesive and so on;
d. Use to remove the reflection of the body of oil and rust, so as not to affect the detection sensitivity;
e. To pay attention to proper storage, avoid heavy pressure and fire baking, to prevent deformation.
Ultrasonic thickness gauge special maintenance
a.Do not use sharp objects (such as a screwdriver, biros, etc.) instead of fingers to press the panel, so as not to damage the keyboard;
b. After a long time of use, if the instrument panel school dirty need to clean, should be soft wet rag (carry dry water) wipe the instrument panel;
c. The instrument can be splash-proof and dust-proof, but not immersed in water;
d. The probe should not be in contact with large plane of ferromagnetic material, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy or even probe damage;
e. When calibrating, please put the target ball into the fixture first (i.e. test block with red label and blue label), and then place the fixture on the top of the probe. If the fixture is put on the probe first, and then the ball is put into the fixture, the long time ball will knock the test block out of the crater, which affects the measurement accuracy;
